"Who's there?" Megara asked, her voice calm but curious. Medusa was stunned into silence. It wasn't fear in Megara's tone-just genuine curiosity. For a moment, Medusa considered fleeing, but something about the priestess's unthreatening demeanor held her in place.

When Medusa finally spoke, her voice was hesitant, as if unsure of how to handle this unusual encounter. "You shouldn't be here," she said softly, her tone carrying both a warning and a plea.

Megara tilted her head slightly, sensing the tension in the voice. "Forgive me. I didn't mean to intrude," she said, turning her face toward Medusa without hesitation. "I'm gathering herbs for the temple. This garden is... beautiful."

Medusa blinked, utterly perplexed. No one had complimented her or anything of hers in so long. "You... you're not afraid?" Medusa asked, her snakes hissing softly in curiosity.

Megara smiled faintly. "Why would I be afraid? You sound lonely, not dangerous."
