A group of teenagers who live in a place known only as "The Compound" are led to believe that they are the last people on the planet, aside from their ever-present caretakers. The Caretakers study them and their abilities, never once letting them know of the thriving outside world. In the outside world, everybody has abilities, known as "Gifts." The oppressive government prevents people from using these Gifts properly. A faction of rebels is on the rise, determined to retrieve the children they lost to this cruel government and create a fairer world for all. "and we don't like being wrong..." Modern futuristic AU. This story will contain mature themes and triggering topics, such as somewhat detailed descriptions of blood and violence, suicide, depression, homophobia, child abuse, and death. "You are too overpowered. Your existence poses a great threat to my son and daughter of fate. I had no other choice but to kill you." This was the voice of God he heard when he was about to enter the door of death. "A tragic oped character, sigh, its a very popular trend right now. The normal cliche of losing all your loved ones, an illegitimate son of a noble household, possessing overwhelming magic, good looks and what not. But as I kept writing I realised I made you way too oped, to the point your existence became a threat to the plot." The voice of god spoke to him again. "...Are you the one who killed my family?" He asked back with a blank expression. "Yes." Spoke the voice again. This simple one sentence angered him to the point he fought harder against his predestined death. He was enraged. The death of his family was orchestrated by this damn god, his life made miserable and painful, so he had to rise again, back on his two feets so he could destroy the god's world. And so he did. He rose again, defeating his death. Then he had his revenge by almost destroying the world. Almost!!! Before he could lead to the death of the Male and the female lead a thing called system was bounded to his soul. He was forced to leave his world and enter many different worlds. "Well, Unfreeze the OOC!" He demanded with a malicious grin on his face. He had to have his revenge. But most important of all, he had to be the one incharge of his characters. "......." The system shivered at his words, its invisible eyes bulging out. Unbeknownst to him, a GOD had embarked on a journey to a portal of unknown origin right at the time when he was entering a new world. From all of the things on earth, humans are the most interesting to watch. I've seen them research things, developing things, but also creating and destroying things. That's why I've been living among them for thousands of years. And all these time, I've seen humans evolve, physically but also mentally. All my stories of my lives through out history are different. And now, humans are at the peak of there break through of science with their knowledge of technology. This is a new story of mine. A story about my new life in a new modern generation, my first appearance as a teenager. (If you want to know how the main characters (Ren, Michelle, Kyle, Shun, Dave) look like, see the cover.) They roam around Earth every few centuries and destroy what mankind works hard for. That is, if this legend is even true at all. -|-|-|-|-|- *Warning* -Profanity -Completely rushed -Lots of characters you have to remember -|-|-|-|-|- Seven emotions: Rage, Fear, Envious, Sadness, Happy, Disgust, and Anticipation, all with their certain powers. Ideally, they're immortal, but the more power they use, the more their life shortens. Certain requirements had to be made so that they could live on Earth and breath the oxygen. And after so many years of fighting and fighting, having almost no time to live the lives they want, they give up, spending what normal teenagers would use to play video games or go shopping to train and increase their magic. With another big attack coming along soon, Rage is going to go into Immortal's Death for sure, Envious, Happiness and many others are certainly going to be on the brink of it. Synopsis -------------- "Let's leave my origins. We both have unspeakable origins. But the problem is I know of your origins. Galan of Taa." John said. Galactus' eyes squinted as John said his real name out loud. He never expected someone totally out of nowhere knew his actual name. "Never expected an unknown guy would know my origins. So what of it? I don't think it matters where I came from." Galactus replied. "It doesn't. You did what you had to do to survive. But the problem is you made a deal with the devil." John replied. Galactus looked at John with more stoic eyes now. He had done many things in the past and he made many bad decisions. He just wasn't sure what John was referring to so he was silent. John seeing that Galactus was silent and refused to speak said "Black Winter is coming!!" ------------- When a cinephile and an otaku/weeb travels through dimensions and gets a system which can only be described as overpowered but comes with restrictions. At first he was overjoyed with the system but soon realizes that he is in a very dangerous world where his life was at risk all the time. Disclaimer : I am not an economist so I might have done some mistakes in the economics section of the story. If you have suggestions to make it better you can leave in the comments. Warning - The MC won't be OP from the start itself and will grow to a powerful character in due time. The starting feels a bit weird because I am totally new to writing a novel and English is my second language. I don't have an editor so the conversations and descriptions might be little stiff.
