Elodie Dubayard: nearly 21, blind due to Albinism, an orphan at twelve. Now, a servant and openly hated by her aunt and uncle, aka the Cunningham's, but out of view of the public's eye of course. Elodie was put in place of her cousin Elise, in an arranged marriage to the seemingly ruthless Rigel Klein.

Rigel Klein: rumoured to be nothing but cold-hearted at age 24, as the son of Alexander Klein, and older brother to Ophelia Klein(age 20). The heir to both the public brand, Calvin Klein, and to one of the noblest, most feared and renowned mafia gangs across the nation.

The Cunningham's: A noble, wealthy family, with a chain known nationally as the Cunningham Estates, due to luxury hotels and country clubs. Eleanor Dacre, the sister to Elodie's late father, Ethan DuBayard, sister-in-law to her mother, Amelia Dacre, and aunt to the late toddler Esme. Together with Charles Cunningham, they're raising 21 year old Elise, 18 year old Chloe, and 15 year old Charlotte. Elise is the definition of a spoiled daddy's girl and partier, Chloe is not far off either, as both girls spend their days vlogging on every social media platform, shopping, and hanging out with their combined circle of influencer, rich friends. Charlotte, nearly 16, though is also rather popular and is growing up with money, still found what her sisters couldn't, the decency to be kind. Charlotte enjoys spending time with her friends but otherwise spends her time painting or drawing, or working at the bakery in their country clubs. She's the only one in the family to show Elodie an ounce of gratefulness and kindness.
