Voldemort broke magic, but wizarding Britain has found a way to fix it: put couples through a magical courtship where they create new magic and then they perform a sex magic ritual to release their new magic into the world. A wildly successful initiative and, after 6 years, it's finally Harry's turn to contribute and, maybe, fall in love. Except, what are the chances of that when his match--his only match--is Severus Snape?

Shadows of Time

29 parts Complete

A flash of green light, a baby's cry, and then silence. Instead of being left on the doorstep of Privet Drive, baby Harry Potter is swept away by the residual magic of his mother's sacrifice, carried through the veil of time. He lands in a dense, misty forest in the heart of medieval Britain. Morgana Le Fay, powerful sorceress and mistress of Avalon, wanders through the woods in search of rare herbs for her potions. Her sharp eyes catch a faint shimmer of magic, leading her to a crying infant wrapped in a blanket. Intrigued, she lifts the child and feels the powerful magic coursing through him. "Who are you, little one?" she whispers, her cold demeanor softening as she cradles the baby. "Fate must have brought you to me." Naming him Hadrian, Morgana raises Harry in her mystical sanctuary. She teaches him ancient magic, the art of deception, and the strength of will. Over the years, Harry becomes fiercely loyal to Morgana, viewing her as the only mother he has ever known.
