Welcome to Luna City, the most prestigious city in the world. It's comprised of various races ranging from elves to the quaint goblin, and the formation of its growing presence of technology relies heavily on that of magic. Magic and money determine your status, and without it, you're stuck in the lowest district of the city: Riverbrook. There, technology does not exist, and you're forced to live in the past with modern facilities. Your only saving grace is that of Ryn the elf. She's powerful, but she chooses to live in the slums and use her magic to aid everyone around her. She also owns the best tavern in the lower portion of the city. Life is bearable now, until the attack on the orcs during their courtship season. Someone poisons the air and kills many, and all fingers point to the beloved Ryn. Her status is immediately revolted, and her death is near. That is, until she suddenly disappears thanks to one of the more dangerous gangs of Luna City. They noticed her. They need her, and their leader may even crave her.
Sebastian Sodolis runs an organized gang of shifters, a race that is looked down upon within the city. He loves mischief, and he most certainly desires the creation of chaos. His insanity has only ever calmed down once, and it was in the presence of a chubby elf woman with long raven hair. Ryn is able to control the raging beast from within, but how? Is her magic truly that powerful? Sebastian visions a future with her in it--as his slave with absolutely no freedom, of course. He's evil without an ounce of humanity. Maybe? Maybe... they can help each other out... with a little persuasion, of course.
Ryn needs help clearing her name. Sebastian needs help gaining control of Luna City. Sounds like a fair trade, right?
Lian snuck out of the imperial palace and exposed the village healer to be a fraud and a devil-worshipper. Cursed by the spurned fire god, Huogwai, and disgraced and cast out by the royal family, Lian set out with her manservant Emiru to the kingdom of fire to rid her of the curse of uncontrollable flames for a chance to regain her claim to the throne. But being a fire disciple meant she was a practitioner of the forbidden arts. For those that hunt her kind, the game had just started.
