The world of Tali is one ravaged by monsters, humans and demons alike. And with both Torchbearer and Beginning christened, its fate draws ever nearer - for the world risks an upheaval, if not total obliteration.

This is nothing new to Tali, naturally. It is merely the latest in a long cycle of heroes doing battle with villains. But this time around, things are a little different - the Beginning, harbinger of the new dawn free of sin, and the Torchbearer, guardian of all the world's beauty and joy, have befriended one another, in a sense. Far from wanting blood like those preceding them, they seek to understand one another.

What could drive a man to destroy the world? Why would one protect it in spite of its imperfections? As the fire is lit and the light shines on us all, the truth will be revealed to all, and the fate of the world will be settled once and for all.
