Paths of the chosen

People wondered where the heir to the Darlington family had disappeared to. Or more of a common name for her, the white-haired witch. They wondered if they locked her up after her mother's death, if she really did kill her mother. If maybe she ran away, or if she had killed herself, but Cordelia didn't know any of these things were being said since she was stuck in a cell deep down in a dungeon. Trapped. Slowly goes insane, but when someone she didn't expect to see gets thrown in a cell next to her. She tries to come up with an escape, but those plans soon disappear when she is drugged out of her cell and brought to the new king. Making a proposal to her, she only would agree if he set her old friend free. Surprisingly, he agrees, but after she overhears a conversation and then soon after gets kidnapped by the runaway prince, plans change for her. Now, she was in hiding with a prince she didn't know if she could trust. Making a deal to help him, with an ability she has kept hidden from the world, things get messy. With betrayals she never expected, Rebellions being created. Things like her heart on the line and schemes that were fabricated behind the scenes, would she die? Would she get captured? Would the insanity that has slowly been eating at her break her? Would she fall out to her feelings? Who could be trusted in this world that, she thought she knew so well?
