Defiant: High Voltage

The current year is 2022, ten years after the Outbreak, when an asteroid crashed into the Pacific Ocean only miles away from the state of California, bring with it a virus that mutates DNA giving people and some animals strange abilities. Around the country, people were preparing for the "great danger" from the inside. People who have the mutation, called Benders, are arrested an taken to an underground prison in Denver, Colorado. The fear and aggression amplified. The term "Bender" became "Deviant Assassin". The laws in the country are diminished every day because everyone in the government is focused on the problem at hand. By the time it was 2022, America had become a country with only one law: Only humans have a right to live in society. There are no police, no president, no armed forces, not even the Coast Guard. The only defense is against Deviant Assassins via the Undivided Protection Corps. However, there's two sides of every story, right?

19 year old Skylor Black is, for the most part, a typical girl living with her Native American tribe in a valley just outside of what used to be Colorado Sprigs. Slightly set back by old injuries, she still leads a normal life in a post-apocalyptic world. But all of that changes when one day she gets herself into something that can never be fixed. She soon finds herself not only representing her worst enemy, but she is now on the wrong side of a terrible war. While the government is looking for her, all the people she loves and adores get wound together with the rest of her massive wad of problems. Will she be able to clean up this mess before lives are lost?
