Scarlett - She has lived in the Slums her whole her life with Maxwell, a man who took her in when she was just a baby. Scarlett has a dream from the Moon Goddess who tells her she is the last Promised Luna. After being captured by the Empyrean Empire's soldiers and saved by a boy who is her Protector, Scarlett's world changes quickly. She loses the only man whoever cared about her and begins her life at the Lunar Temple. But it isn't easy when the Protector is her mate.
Jaxon- A boy who once lived in the Slums and saved from the dreadful place, is now Protector to the Promised Luna. He guides her into being the leader she needs to be but with difficulty.
