"She would believe she created her imaginary friend." Dream becomes just that to young Harper. It is an act of kindness on her part, but is there more to it than that? Despite her friends' protests, Dream senses a need to keep a close eye on the young girl. As Harper grows up, Dream fades from her mind. Forgotten and heartbroken, Dream must choose between returning to her old life and responsibilities as one of the last of her species, or trusting her instincts and staying near Harper to play guardian angel.
