We're in the cold and dark Russia, where Fyodor and Nikolai are both 17 years old.
Fyodor is a serious, composed and calm boy coming from an extremely religious family with rich parents. He's always controlled and he has to follow the strict rules of his religion just because their parents want him to be the perfect man.
Nikolai is a talkative, confident and simple boy coming from a numerous family that has some economic problems. He's one of the oldest brothers and he had to take care of his youngest siblings because his parents are always out to gain some money for their family.
Despite all the differences between them...they find in each other the feeling of 'liberty' that they can't find somewhere else...
