The Hero I Was Not

Ever since Y/N remembered, she had been trained by her Mutter to make Katsuki Bakugou fall in love with her. The goal was to make him fall in love to the point where he was committed, then to lure him to Mutter.

Y/N had never been told why she needed to capture Katsuki. All she knew was that that was her sole purpose of existence. The reason she wasn't thrown away like trash when she was born unlike Mutter wanted.

See, Y/N's parents weren't human. What did that make Y/N? She wasn't sure, but when Mutter told her she had to be a hero, she knew that she was not.

Pretend, her mother had said. Pretend to be one of them.

As Y/N stood on the extensive UA campus, she did as her Mutter told her: pretended.
