Truth Beyond the Shadow

On the dangerous seas of the Caribbean, pirates roam about, committing almost any crime possible it seems.
Dalia Jones, daughter of pirate Captain Samson Jones, knows this very well. As far as she knows actually, pirates and crime have been in her family tree and blood for many years. Although her father forbids it, she wants to join in on all the action and is determined to make her ancestors proud one day.
Hunt Simmons wants to make his ancestors proud too, which according to his mentor, he already is. Hunt comes from a long line of honored and disciplined soldiers of the government.
One night, these two characters' worlds are thrown together when a job done by Jones's crew goes wrong. In a hurried escape, Hunt somehow becomes a captive of the pirates. To make the members of his family tree proud, Hunt must escape the wanted savages. To achieve her goal of proving she's a strong pirate, Dalia must chase him down and get him back. In their attempts, the two from different ways of life, get stranded.
Both of them have plans to get back home, but they can only do it together. Just because they team up, doesn't mean that they both trust each other completely, though. They might grow close over what they do and learn on the journey, but they are still enemies by logic. No one knows what will happen when they get where they need to, but that ends up not being their biggest worry.
