To outsiders, Zyair Ngoma was the pretty golden boy. A reliable friend, had successful parents, and a promising future. Then there was Elias Reyes: the kind-hearted, attractive football jock. These two boys had been together since childhood- spending every nap time cuddled up together. To the public eye, their bond was pure and irreplaceable. Yet you can't help but wonder how the school's valedictorian and football coach's son are still so close. They have different expectations and responsibilities; Zyair trying to apply to top colleges and Elias focusing on his football passions. Well it's simple, the line between best friends and lovers has always been blurred for the two. As best friends, they know each other's likes and dislikes: favorites movies, pastimes, poems. That if one of them had a tomato or pickle, they'd trade. The little things that be defined as friendship. But as lovers, they knew each other's soul: dreams and memories, their triggers, and all the imperfections on each other's bodies. Regardless of this, they kept the image of the perfect pair of best friends. But in their less than perfect town, whatever stays in the dark will come to light.
