ADVANCES
In the year 3000, technology was taking over and humans weren't longer tasked to do such basic tasks if they didn't want to. However there was a catch because as we were partying and drinking, we never noticed the robots getting stronger. They eventually realized humans loved partying too much to worry about them so they pretended to be humans to implant a computer chip in 'medical' surgery. Robots didn't take over how ever. They at least needed some humans to make observations with hope- that robots didn't have.
LIMITED WORDS
The amount of words you had was how many words you could say. It will never increase again unless you go to the blackmail where rogue robots work for crisp bills. People often need 860 million, however if you came from a poor family, you would be lucky to have one. They often use it wisely, not wanting to get into trouble with no words.
UNSPOKEN WORDS
Lilith Rose was apart of the more richer end. She had at least double what the average person needed for words. However she was mute and she mostly spent her time, painting sunflower fields. Robots bowed their head when they saw her and she did the same politely. Not because she wanted to, robots can't even feel emotions but she had empathy. She may not be a machine but she knew what it was like, just sitting in the background, watching people chatting casually yet they didn't acknowledge you.
