Broken City

When Liam James is publicly humiliated by the manager of Sartorius Corp, he decides to confront the company with the only weapon at his disposal: social media. However, his attempt at justice unleashes the wrath of Trece, the secret agency of the conglomerate where he worked for over ten years, tasked with neutralizing any threat to its image. Manipulation, persecution, and a corrupt judicial system will soon turn Liam into the perfect villain for the corporate narrative.

When all seems lost, the business magnate and one of the conglomerate's shareholders, Henry Sartorius, appears in person. He offers Liam a deal: wealth, security, and a life without hardship, in exchange for becoming the scapegoat of a catastrophic attack that hasn't happened yet. Liam will have to publicly admit to a non-existent crime and humiliate himself before the entire world, thus solidifying the Sartorius image as the redemptive heroes of their own empire.

In a game of lies, power, and resistance, Liam must decide whether to succumb to the idol's offer or risk everything to defeat them, knowing that in a world of ashes, monsters often rise from the flames.
