-"THE CONNECTION WAS UNEARTHLY,"
Some believed that once man and woman were one, bodies intertwined, two sets of legs, two sets of arms, two sets of heads, too powerful for their own good; and so the gods decided to split them into half. The "normal" humans were then born, two separate genders, men and women, and throughout their lives, their purpose was to find the other- become one again.
The feeling of finding your other half was unearthly. A feeling that can only be decribed as, feeling complete.
w.scobell x oc fanfiction, characters are not mine, pictures used are not mine, storyline is mine.
No smut, just fluff and angst, slow updates, longish chapters. English is not my first language.

Your parents weren't of the same species. One was human, the other monster, but both were gone forever. Even after the war between humans and monsters ended, monster discrimination remains stagnant at high levels. The minority of humans that appreciated the monster kind were wiped clean, became neutral, or went along with the flow out of fear.
And you? Well, you belong to both sides by blood (and magic). But living in a racist society turns your life for the worst when your hybrid identity is forcefully revealed due to an accident. No one, other than your aunt, sees you as a part of them but rather a monstrous creature.
It never changes despite the countless number of times you have been through the same situation, over and over... (wait what-)
Then there is one more group, who fancies your worth, but to the wrong scale.
Is there hope for true and proper acceptance from others?
