Lea and her sister Mia were always inseparable, and after the death of their parents, their bond only grew stronger. Before Lea moved to Manchester with her best friend, Mia begged her to stay, afraid of being left alone. But Lea went, leaving Mia behind in London. When Lea receives the devastating news of her sister's death, she rushes back to her hometown. Her world shatters, and even the letters Mia left behind can't ease the pain. Then she meets Liam, her childhood friend who disappeared from her life without explanation when they were both 17. Liam rekindles the light in her eyes. At first, she resents him for leaving, but something slowly changes. Old friends begin to grow into something more. He slowly becomes the light in her life that she desperately needs.
