The Evil Within

A Writer's Reflection:
Fear is a strange feeling, something beyond the natural realm of human comprehension. We as humans come to understand the basis of fear, especially in the realms of being afraid of a single entity. This entity is often a murder on the loose, or perhaps a large spider crawling up your bed, even something more obvious as an enormously starved Lion, staring into its eyes as it licks its lips, gazing at you to be its next meal. This is horror, in which there is a clear indication of what is causing your fear responses to be in mortal danger & potential for death. However, what about a scenario where there is no single entity that is causing you fear. Terror can be described as a deeply resonating feeling of uneasiness, to be creeped out by a sight that would otherwise be seen as unnatural or strange.
