He was not someone to offer advice or to provide comfort. No, he was dangerous. Any spark of comfort he gave would become a dagger in my back the second I let my guard down too far. But I was exhausted and terrified at the prospect that they could leave me without an option at all. I wasn't sure how much longer I would have been able to run from the fact that at several points I truly believed he was the only person I'd met who actually understood me.

Sold to the Red Room before being taken by Hydra, Kaya has been a pawn in someone else's game her entire life. When the opportunity to be more presents itself she takes it with both hands. But the opportunity to be an Avenger isn't without issue and when she begins dreaming of an unknown man who's magic is hauntingly familiar any hope of a peaceful life disappears in an instant.
