16-year-old Danny Reeds has a secret. Only one person knows, and it just happened to be Nathan King, the now well know towns bad boy. Danny was once best friends with Nathan and came out to Nathan in middle school, only putting separation between the two.

Danny can't forget the fun times he had with Nathan or how he felt safe around him. He wanted to try to clear the air between them, only to realize Nathan is nothing like he used to be, other than maybe a little hotter, more built and slightly more aggressive with his words and actions.

Danny's life soon turns into a roller coaster of emptions, and for some reason, it was Nathan who took his hand and helped him through. Danny faces challenging life events with family, while Nathan fights the monsters in the shadows of his dad's old life. The two are built differently yet find comfort in each other's arms. 

This story is BL, boy x boy. If you do not like that kind of thing, it won't be for you.
