Ayre is a young dragon prince. He belongs to an ancient race of humans who can turn into dragons. For ages his people have lived in obscurity, hiding from ordinary humans who once sought to destroy them. Ayre wants to be a dragon warrior just like his favorite brother, Ayzu, but his eldest brother, Aybo, has other plans for him: jealous of his beauty and skills and love he inspires, he sends him away to spy on humans whose kingdom he wishes to invade. There Ayre becomes a treasure hunter in order to blend in and one day catches the eye of a young human male with a pretty face and a wicked streak, who gradually lures Ayre into his nets. Ayre falls fast and hard for the human, not knowing that giving his body and heart away will bring about his complete destruction.
