It's been so long since I have been freed. Breathing fresh air that is now taken for granted it felt distant now. The sun's warmth hasn't touched my skin in ages being locked away like a caged animal. This doesn't feel right, you know doesn't feel like I'm even a decent human being that can be treated normally. My eyes are drained from any sort of hope in these decades of being held captivated.

No one stopped to look. No one glanced in the alley I cried in. I was tired of this place, so tired of the endless days that stretched out before me.
