Brian smiled at me, "And then, I met this girl." My heart stopped--the whole world seemed to stop. "She's hopeless, couldn't walk on flat ground if she tried," He said softly, his eyes unwavering. "She was the only person who didn't treat me like something, I felt like someone around her. You know, its not so dark anymore. I fell in love with her before she even knew my name, but I'd known hers..." Brian paused, watching me. "Alex." Brian reached out with a hand, as I stood speechless. He brushed his fingers across the swollen bruise above my eye gently, and leaned down until his eyes were level with mine. "And in case you didn't catch all of that," He said softly, "I love you. So much it hurts--" I leaned forward and pressed my lips to his.

"I gave you a chance to leave and never come back, why didn't you take it?" I looked into those deep grey eyes that I fell for. "Because I wouldn't have my wife sitting right next to me on that train ride." I answered truthfully. ☔︎☔︎☔︎ He has never met someone as mean as her. The glare on her face almost seemed permanent. The only words that fall out of her mouth are ones that will leave you tarnished and torn, making you second guess where you went wrong. Even worse, she never spoke, more like she grunted responses. When he first laid eyes on her, he fell in love with her tattoos, her attitude, her charm. He didn't understand why he kept coming back? He was intrigued with her. No matter what she said or did to him, he kept coming back. He was impatient but would wait for her. . . . She never understood how someone could keep a smile on their face everyday. The way he always kept a positive look on life. He never frowned. He was the flavour bubblegum that everyone wanted. The go-to ice cream flavour that you always get on a sunny day. That one summer vacation that you'll never forget. She hated his smile, his laugh, his eyes. She hated that she wanted to see that smile everyday. She hated that she couldn't stay away from him. She would happily set the world on fire but never let a flame touch him. ☔︎☔︎☔︎ All Rights Reserved 2022Ⓒsyriacax
