Water On Dark Rocks

1813, in the middle of the late Edo period of feudal Japan. In the city of Osaka during the reign of Shogun Tokugawa Lenari. An unexpected romance blossoms between two of the city's most unusual inhabitants. A western born geisha and a black samurai in the service of the Shogun, are Osaka's novelties. One adapted to the culture, the other born into it. Both struggle against prejudices due to their appearances, and to keep themselves safe from the disastrous rumors started by cruel members of society. (This fictional story is based in a real place and time within Japan's history, but by no means is completely accurate to the historical period that it's set in, I did my best to get it as close as possible, thank you!)
