Its the 1930's. The Great Depression is in full swing, any old average joe has to do their best to provide for themselves, and their families if they have any. One such guy, a certain orange cocker spaniel named Dogday Burke is scraping by using his wits and his fists in an underground fighting ring, where getting by with your life is a privilege to very few. Until one day, where a mob family whose heads are the Long Legs, scouts and recruits him to be the muscle of a whorehouse, where he meets a purple feline named Catnap who is their most valued worker.
