Years pass after Firestar dies.
Years pass after Sandstorm follows, and all of the ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, WindClan, and SkyClan you knew.
Years stop when the prophecy is told.
New years begin as a leader fights for ShadowClan in an untold battle.
Time for that battle to be told.

A prophecy slowly drives the leaders of clans you've known into a state of spiraling, confused madness. Fernstar, the current leader of ShadowClan, is trying all she can to figure out what she can.
But the answer was in front of them.
Whispersong, the one cat that is least likely to agree to anything of this matter, is the only thing the forest can rely on for a sense that they will survive this new age.
Sadly, some cats held back an answer for too long. These cats already knew.
These cats are out to kill anybody willing to save the prophecy, which means a dying hope could be in the claws of the leader.
Fernstar must decide throughout all the books in 'Dying Hope' to betray her own clan and save them all, risking exile despite her importance, or keep under the radar long enough to save herself... but not many others.
When all of ShadowClan is put onto high safety regulations, watchful eyes could be what has made this forest so unsafe.
One thing is for sure- a storm is rising, and the rain from the darker sides of the forest is sure to leave a mark.

**OLD ~ I wrote this when I was like 14-16 so be aware!** Four generations after The Last Hope, we strike into two rivaling Clans: LightClan and OutClan. LightClan is of loyal, strong-willed warriors while OutClan is dis trustworthy and full of rogues. When Ashstar, LightClan's leader receives a prophecy speaking of a cat who will have the power to talk to any animal, she's at a loss for words. A litter of kits is born that very night, Wolfkit and Frostkit. Ashstar realizes Wolfkit is the prophesied cat and doesn't know how to react. As Wolfkit struggles with her ability, Frostkit has trouble with OutClan, seeing she has been gifted with supreme hunting and fighting skills. Both the she-cats go through hardships and battle having the temptation of mates as young apprentices, one far worse than the other. But that is not their only problem, there is evil lurking inside their very Clan and they are the only ones who can stop it. Like? Share? Comment?
