{18+] When a rival goalie gives Isla a wrong number, she has no idea she's texting her brother's teammate.

                                                                      *****

Isla Watson can't stand hockey players. Not that anybody knows that. To the outside world, she's a hockey aficionado, running a successful social media account that goes behind the scenes of the NHL's Saskatoon Storm. The only thing colder than her 'Isla on Ice' page is her relationship with her brother's teammate, who resents everything about social media. When a rival team's goalie gives Isla a deliberately wrong number, she finally has a chance to take a break from putting on a show for the camera and let someone see the real girl behind the screen.

Seb Cooper has a reputation for dropping the gloves. His fight on the ice is only matched by his battle with his D-partner's gorgeous sister, who he's clashed with ever since they drunkenly hooked up three years ago. She's just another 'influencer' who prioritises internet clout over real connections. Fortunately, the girl on the other end of his phone is far more down to earth, and he can finally talk to someone without worrying about ulterior motives.

When Isla is tasked with creating a video series about learning to skate, an injured Seb is assigned as her teacher. The only thing they can agree on is their burning mutual attraction that melts the ice. Little do they know, they've been anonymously texting each other for months.

Hidden in those messages are lies, secrets, and vulnerabilities, and when their two worlds collide, Isla and Seb have to decide which version is their reality.

We're not in love. Our past is a dumpster fire. The best we are is friends with benefits... without the friends' part. Jake Harrison, USC's star quarterback, goes through girls faster than jock straps. If that's not disgusting enough, he's my best friend's brother and my prime motivation for celibacy. Transferring to UCLA means finally getting out of my dad's house. All I want is to stay under the social radar, make Dad proud by earning my paralegal certification, and get out of Los Angeles. When Jake learns I'm nearby, the cocky jerk will stop at nothing to rekindle what didn't work before. He thinks he's grown and matured past the boy who crushed my teenage heart. I think he's taken too many tackles into the turf, but when he proposes a stress management agreement during his season... I can't help but see his point. His seven-and-a-half-inch point. The last time we indulged, we got sloppy. Not the good kind-soul-crushing feelings-sloppy. My brain knows cutting ties was for the best, but the rest of my body still hates me. But I won't be made a fool again. This time, I have rules: No attachment. No cuddles. And no falling in love. Yet, when treacherous feelings resurface, I do the worst thing possible-Break my own rules. This time, whoever falls first isn't getting back up. Story is complete. Milly Barker aims to finish her senior year of college at East Alabama State University with stellar grades and a bit of money saved up. But when The Camellia Tavern, the place she's worked for years, comes under new ownership, her best laid plans begin to crumble. It's of secondary importance that Warrick Travers is alarmingly hot and successful because his arrogance and management style aren't winning him any points from his new staff--Milly, especially. Pretty soon, however, neither of them can deny an attraction. But Warrick doesn't date his staff and Milly isn't looking for more heartache in her life. Will these opposites let their guards down or will The Camellia Tavern have to weather their storm?
