Blood pounded in Cassia's ear. 

"No," She said as the interrogator pulled her glove off. Her heart skipped a beat. "No!" She repeated, louder and more desperate. She struggle in the man's grasp, but could not get free. He was too strong. 

The masked figure grabbed her wrist and yanked her forward towards a shackled man in front of her. He was sobbing quietly to himself. 

"Please don't do this!" She cried, kicking outwards. Anger filled every part of her being as she struggled to be free. The interrogator's grip tightened, pulling her a little closer so that the other prisoner was in her reach. 

"I'm sorry," She whispered to the man, tears sliding down her face. The interrogator forced her hand to make contact with the prisoner. 

As soon as her skin meet his, the man began to cry out in pain.

Cassia watched in horror as the man began to turn to gold.
