On the island that Echo was born, she was considered an anomaly. Her ability to manipulate sound was not unique in her clan, but she was able to utilise her power in ways that no one else could. And to make matters worse, her power was unstable. So, she was cast out. Unofficially.

Appointed as Guardian to the Harmonic Crystals.

It was meant to be a pointless task. Their island was secret, the location lost to time. No one should have been able to locate them, much less steal the crystals from the chasm. Yet, when a portal opened and an energy gem was taken, Echo is forced to follow.
