A century ago, a mysterious dungeon appeared, floating in the sky, heralding the Great Dungeon Exploration Era.

There, some find riches, others glory-while most meet their grisly end.
Now, Hale, a former palace mage with a knack for trouble, is back in the kingdom thanks to a "generous" invitation from King Zankif Ozuara II. His options? Help the king and explore the dungeon or face a very public execution.

But as Hale delves into the dungeon's endless darkness, he starts to uncover secrets about his mother, forbidden magic, and a girl whose fate might just be the key to everything.

Can Hale survive the dungeon's traps... and the king's scheming? Or will his bad decisions finally catch up to him?
