With the thoughts of a friend recently gone missing, Vent goes out with his caretaker and boss Girouette to deliver a package to a group called the Guardians; an act that will change Vent's life forever.

The two kids have yet realize that they have more in common than just appearances. A reunion between two unique creatures are about to take place after nearly 25 years of separation, but the union will not be met under happy circumstances. Guided by the spirits of their half-siblings, father, and honorary uncle, Aile and Vent put their trust and bravery to the test as they overcome obstacles together to find the cause of recent Mavericks attacks. What they find, however, could separate them again as quickly as it joined them...
