What if the war between Wonder Woman and Aquaman never happened? What if Batman, known as Thomas Wayne, spent his days just taking down criminals brutally and struggling to save his beloved wife, Martha, from descending further into madness, a madness that's slowly tearing them both apart?

The Joker, Martha, is planning something extreme for Gotham. Whatever it is, it's going to destroy millions of innocent lives. But Thomas can't bring himself to hurt her. He can't. He won't-especially after everything they've been through. All he ever wanted was to see her smile again.

With time running out, Thomas needs to think fast. He has to stop her and send her somewhere that might restore her, fix her... bring her back to some form of normalcy.

Then, an idea forms.

If he can't stop Martha directly... Maybe he can find someone willing to stop her for him.
