The Hymn of the Nightsong // Coriolanus Snow
19 parts Ongoing Mature"Coriolanus Snow swore off love until a raven flew into his arena and changed the game." - The Nightsong.
They said ravens were the largest songbird, and the girl who carried its namesake had to live up to its powerful legacy.
Raven Wingard had to prove she could sing with fire and tame the snakes that dared hiss.
One in particular desired a path to power, swore never to love again, until a songbird sang once more. But unlike the one lost in gray, this one was loud, proud, and so much worse than the first because ravens didn't fade, they aroused.
They called her the Nightsong, and her haunting hymns brought back memories to a snake who wished to forget his scars. He wasn't sure if he wanted to cage her, break her, or burn the world down to keep her voice alive.
In Panem, new memories formed - some pure, others damned - in a world built on the ashes of fallen children and rebellion. Would their survival end with roses or nameless graves?
