Mamoru Kurosawa, a boy struggling with his identity and a tortured past, faces relentless bullying and harsh treatment in his traditional Japanese school. Only living with his vile uncle, his parents' disappearance was a mystery that was long forgotten by the public.
The only thing they left him was a peculiar necklace his uncle would never let him take off no matter what.
As the torment left Mamoru broken and crushed, he ripped his necklace off to only be teleported to a whole different world filled with darkness and creatures that would hunt him till death.
