After the collapse of the Soviet Union, its successor, the Russian Federation, and the United States aimed to improve the relationship of both parties by building the International Space Station. The project started in 1998 and could only host humans for the first time in 2000. After that, the ISS was always required to have at least two people on it to maintain the machines. The two chosen people were Alfred F. Jones and Ivan Braginsky.

The year is 2018 and planet Earth has given man kind everything that it has to offer, to the point that the planet is dying away. Most of the earth is in ruin which made all the leaders from all the nations meet together on a secret island for two weeks to come up and form a plan for man kind's survival, and so the United Space Administration or USA for short was form. For years the federal governments from all the nations on earth has been secretly investing and contributing with each other on space and military developments without the population of their countrymen knowing about what they ( the government ) was doing, and now the secrets might pay off now that every country on earth has no choice but to come together as one people. The USA ( not the United States ) has built four star ships in the past ten years at Space Station United in space a few hundred miles behind Space Station Freedom . Through the years moon bases have also been built on the moon, and now paper and coin currencies are completely gone. Everyone on Earth has one card with a chip in it that has everything about you on it and the new currency for everyone is credit and bits.

After the second American Civil War, the world changes drastically. A new nation stood where the United States once was, the Last Empire having fallen to its own people. Addicted to more chemicals than a lab rat, Alfred has a hard time keeping his head up- quite literally. It's not that he doesn't want to quit- believe me, he does!- it's just that the withdrawal is destroying him from the inside out. What makes it worse, is when he's placed into an arranged marriage as a landgrab, and then told about it just before it happened. Now he is wrestling with both his addiction, and someone he was supposed to marry in 1860! Ivan was an addict, once. He understood the pain of withdrawal. He wants to help, since there was nobody around to help him. The idea of joining the Union was one he hadn't even thought of before his boss had arranged the marriage with the dictatrix. Now, he was thrown into a world he didn't know, forced to interact with people he had never met, and be one of the first nations, the third most powerful, to join a mega-nation. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Extra: Alfred is headcannoned as brown get over it. When strange aliens abduct some of the nations, they are then tested on their worth. It appears some species felt that humans were inferior, and so brought the nations to their ship to see if that was true. It falls on them to assure their planet doesn't get obliterated from the alien's laser. The nations are given an opportunity to show the aliens they belong in the universe. But one nation proves too talented amongst his peers, and the aliens give him a choice. Either he dies with his planet, or he goes with them and the planet is saved. What will the HERO do?

When a world conference is held in Moscow, a horrendous snow storm occurs, trapping the countries inside for two weeks. this is a concept I really like but I've never seen it done right so I decided to take matters into my own hands America is ordered to take a week to invite over a few of his fellow nations in order for them to get along better. He takes them to his old house of which only Lithuania has been in. The only issue is that the other don't know the extent of America. It's either the easy way or the hard way depending on if they can follow five simple rules. 1. Take your shoes off when you go inside. 2. No fighting. 3. Don't go in the attic. 4. Don't go in the basement. 5. Ask if you need help with something. Just watch and learn.
