Unbound: The journey back home

Mehari shrieked her voice cracking from strain. She pulled her hand viciously from Agno's grasp.

"You set the library on fire didn't you, no I know you did, why!", she questioned stabbing her finger into Agno's throat.

He stared at her shocked his sunset gold eyes wide and glowing.

"I had to my rose, I love you", he spoke his hands reaching out to hold her shoulders, but she smacked them away.

"Don't call me your rose, I was never your rose, nor will I ever be and never have i nor will i ever love you", she spat. "Now be gone, I wish never to see wretched your face again".

She turned around and reached door handle when the sound of her two wolves barking and whimpering caught her. She spun around only too see both hounds on the floor and Agno glaring. His eyes were large and wild as if her was a mad man.

"I love you Mehari, I always had...and always will".
