(This story takes place in the Sonic Movie universe, and as such may have spoilers. However, due to an ongoing story and numerous similar storylines, I will likely take multiple creative liberties+influence from other Sonic media.)

This story takes place just a few years after the release of Shadow the Hedgehog. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and now Shadow are all trusted members of G.U.N. They're usually only called in for issues pertaining to them, supernatural occurrences, or things of the like, but this time there's a different reason.

"We've found something that's in orbit of our planet, and it's man-made. We believe it to be a piece of Robotnik Tech."

'Common Enemy' [Sonic 3 Inspired Fic] by Real_ShadowHedgehog

Having come from Mobius, a once thought-to-be fictional world in which all of the Classic "Sonic The Hedgehog" characters live, a new super-powered, female Hedgehog arrives on Earth, looking to run away as she was being tracked down by echidna warriors. She soon finds herself hiding amongst the forests of what she later learns is "Green Hills" Montana before being spotted by another Hedgehog. As well as his family consisting of a two-tailed fox, echidna and two humans. Tom and Maddie. They get to know each other a bit, explaining each other's stories before being grouped together by an organization titled "G.U.N." and introduced to a new common enemy amongst the newly formed underdogs group, Shadow The Hedgehog. The group all go through highs and lows to keep this new common enemy at bay before a saddening past is revealed. The new female hedgehog makes it her new mission to keep this new enemy, who is swayed by heartbreak and pain and being used for something far greater beyond just simple revenge, at bay with hardened banter, endless ass-kicking and terrible, downright awful flirting and talk-me-downs before being discovered to hold a great power, one similar to the black and red hedgehog she was tasked to keep busy alongside others. Then, a new, odd, love-hate relationship starts to form between the two hedgehogs. It sparks and flares just as a huge revelation comes to light which requires the strengths of all 'alien' hedgehogs, humans, foxes and echidnas alike. All of the furry, non-furred and spiked friends then team up and take down those who deceived and manipulated. The prototype is supposed to send the person either forward or backwards in time, something the Commander seems obsessed with. However, something goes wrong and Shadow is teleported into an alternate Universe. As Shadow tries to find a way back home, he is roped into a crazy adventure. And a romance he never thought could happen. ------- I know I already have a story with the same name but I decided to re-write it. It was about damn time too. So, If you haven't read the original one, then please don't. It's horrible and my goal is to try and make this one better. Same plot, just with more chapters and a more flushed out story.

Everything was okay until suddenly, Silver came back from the future and warned everyone that something worst was coming, not just the Chaos Emerald, but the Sol Emeralds and the Master Emerald. Worse than Black Doom or anyone they fought before. Mephiles The Dark has return with new powers and sinister allies that could destroy what Sonic, and everyone been fighting for. Before they could start their search on Chaos Emeralds and fight Mephiles again, the Master Emerald glows up and spoke to them. He told them to find someone who would help them to defeat Mephiles and everything will be restored. Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).
