I've always been perfectly fine with my low-key life. Books over parties? Check. Silence over drama? Double-check. Honestly, I'm just trying to survive high school with my best friend, Tom McKenzie, by my side since he's the only person who's ever really seen me.
But then I got paired with Freddie for a class project. Freddie Hutchinson, with his leather jacket, sharp smirk, and reputation darker than my coffee order.
