Silentdawn was born in a prophecy. She didn't love it, and her sisters were favoured more. But as a new flower hatched, everything was getting weird. Cats weren't acting the same. Hawkpool was always weird. He heard voices. He was a mind reader the medicine cat said. He knew what would happen, but he excused them as dreams. Or more like nightmares. He never settled into his place, for his mind was slowly poisoned as the whispers chewed and gnawed their way into his mind.
