A Hero's Journey | Season 1 (Updated)

April 15th, 1965: A Day That Altered the Course of Human History. After the meteorite introduced 'Powers' to Earth, society experienced rapid change. In just a few short decades, people born with these curses were marginalized and excluded for reasons far beyond their control.

Pushed to the brink with little in the way to protect them, some within this new marginalized group use their powers to grant themselves, and their families, security. However, what started out as a noble goal turned to violence, as a never-ending cycle of hatred and death quickly became the new status quo.

Desbine City now finds itself embroiled in a constant clash between law enforcement and the largest criminal organization on the east coast, The Underground Cartel. With each engagement resulting in failure, the people of the city have two questions in mind: "Just how much longer will the status quo last?" and "What will come to break it and set them free?"
