"Flowers" is a story about Juliette Rousselle, or as everyone calls her, La Fleur-a kind-hearted, soft-spoken woman who's living a simple life in Paris. By day, she's a talented chef and baker at the Cherry Red Bakery, where the smell of fresh pastries and cinnamon fills the air. But underneath her gentle exterior lies the mind of a sharp detective, one who's been a little out of work lately. She's comfortable with the familiar routine of the bakery, the warmth of the ovens, and the comfort of her second family-Liam, her co-baker, and Mr. Monsieur, the bakery owner she sees as a father figure.
But when the elegant and mysterious Amara steps into the bakery, everything changes. Amara, a successful writer, is the author of Juliette's favorite book, Flowers-a haunting novel about a girl who dies under mysterious circumstances in a grand mansion surrounded by vines and flowers. Amara has been hearing strange noises from her in-laws' mansion in the woods, and she needs Juliette's help.
What begins as a simple investigation soon unravels into something much darker. The mansion hides secrets-secrets that will lead Juliette into a twisted trap, one that mirrors the very book she loves. As the mystery unfolds, Juliette finds herself unknowingly entangled in a deadly game where the lines between reality and fiction blur. And in the end, her role in Amara's tragic fate may be the most shocking twist of all.
