Summary: The World Championship Series have begun. Follow Ash as he goes through a new stretch of his journey where he will have to uncover the mystery behind the newly formed Neo Team Rocket and how is newly met companion ties with them. This is an AU in which Ash is not the same as the Ash we know from the anime. He hasn't traveled with his companions and he is mostly cold hearted. As such, he is more independent and significantly better at battling than he is in the anime. Furthermore, he essentially has the same Pokemon that he does in the anime. The only differences being that some of his Pokemon will be evolved, ie Gible will be a Garchomp in this story. This story is also a furthershipping story. This is my first story so I apologize if it is cringe. Also, yeah the cover photo sucks LOL. Any and all criticism is appreciated. The plot is about a ten-year-old boy named Ash Ketchum and his first partner named Pikachu, who travels to a new region called Galar. His goal is to challenge Leon, the unbeatable champion. Galar is home to its strong and competitive trainers, so the road will be a challenge for him. Ash is also traveling with two companions: a young adult woman named Sonia, who is also the granddaughter of Professor Magnolia; and a boy named Hop, who's Leon's Younger Brother and share the same goal from Ash of dethroning Leon. Together, the trio travels to the first section of Galar, meeting new trainers and Pokémon and learning about Galar history and secrets. Note: This is the Motostoke Chapter, the first part of the series. First Started: October 14th, 2023.

This isn't an ash fanfic, He's not even in this series. My rivals name is just the first thing I thought of, so don't rage please. I will deviate from the games a few times to make it a little more interesting, but overall it's the same. Also, my character does and will age, and in this story he's ten, just starting his journey, and makes a few dumb moves (Remember, this is my first pokemon game, I wasn't an absolute moron, but I made rookie mistakes.)
