A small town's idyllic life gets severely disrupted, when people begin to disappear in the nearby fjords, between the great mountains of Scandinavia. No one knows exactly their fates, but it is rumored that in the mountains lives a huge man-eating troll which hunts humans at dark time. One day, a teenage boy named Olle and his little sister Hildur, decide to head to those fjords in order to find out the truth. However, their trip won't end very well...
