He had thought he gained friends the first year of Hogwarts... well until people started to accuse him of hurting and petrifying his classmates despite his own mother being a muggleborn.
Now, he was going to show his true self. There was a reason why the hat wanted him in Slytherin.

In the aftermath of the battle of Hogwarts, Harry goes to find Severus Snape's body. A lot of things have changed in his mind when it comes to Snape, and he thinks he deserves to be buried like the hero he is. However, what is his surprise when he finds him alive! And Harry decides that the decent thing to do, and what he wants to do, is to stay and help him heal. A story of healing and recovery, acceptance, friendship, and love.
