There was something about Chaewon that always managed to infuriate her. Maybe it was the way she constantly challenged her for the top academic spot in their year, turning every lesson and assignment into an unspoken competition. Or perhaps it was her polished demeanor, that effortless poise that only someone born into privilege could pull off.
Yunjin wasn't sure, but something about Chaewon grated on her nerves like nails on a chalkboard.
It didn't help that Chaewon barely acknowledged her existence in their shared classes.
