Kiyomi Misaki Hoshino, a normal 16-year-old girl is just living a normal and peaceful life in Oakwood City, a beautiful big city surrounded nature. Around a year ago, Kiyomi and her mother moved to Oakwood City because of her mother's job. Her mother has been pretty busy lately and is rarely home because of her busy job. Kiyomi's mother's birthday was coming up very soon and she wanted to get something special for her mother who works extra hard. After the little birthday party, Kiyomi woke up pass midnight, noticing that her mother is gone. Suddenly, an explosion happened outside the window of her home and it came from the city and not even minutes later, her mother came rushing back inside home and with her uncle who came as well. They needed to get out of the city and fast! The city was quickly getting overrun by the undead corpses known as Zombies. The cops and even the army quickly got overwhelmed and failed as the zombies quickly spread throughout the city and the world.

Trying to survive the undead world, food and other supplies will be limited. Trust in others will be tested and even betrayal will happen. Meeting new friends, new people, and helping eachother survive to see another day, Kiyomi must be strong to see this nightmare through.
