Revenge is bittersweet. You want it so badly but you know it's dead wrong to have. Some would say that the word 'bittersweet' describes Shadow, Aka The Crimson Criminal which Sonic deemed him as, who's just as sweet as he is messy. He's the only lead you have and it doesn't seem all that bad until you start falling for him like those classic romance novels. He's only ever brought you trouble yet somehow in my midst of all the trouble he's brought you, you still see some kind of good in him. Everyone else tells you to stay away but you can't and then it starts to beg the question:
