Apocalypse 25 takes place in an alternate universe set in 2025 where the U.S. government has become corrupt and climate change has taken a turn for the worse. 
 
Ace, a 15 year old girl, watches everything go down. Her life already sucks but after toxic fumes were released into the atmosphere because what's left of the government believes they can get rid of global warming with chemicals, turning people outside into brain-dead zombies, it gets worse. While everyone she cares about dies, she has to fend for herself life with a stick and some old clothes. Of course, she isn't all alone. Her friends Mathew, Jenna, June, Abby, and Gavin are all there to help.. at least at the start. Do they survive? Ace highly doubts it. But, hey, at least she doesn't have to deal with bullies anymore!
