If the Galaxy was at your hands, would you take it? Would you sacrifice yourself to save the galaxy from its greatest villain? Would you let go of the ones you love to protect them?
Four thousand years before the rise of the empire stood a different sith empire, one ruled by Darth Revan. The Jedi presume him as a villain, but is he truly a villain in the mess of the galaxy. In order to stop Revan the jedi send a strike team to capture him only for it to take a turn and the jedi to lose their most valuable asset Bastila Shan a prodigy within the jedi order for her battle meditation abilities. 
Revan sees something different in this young woman a reason to keep her alive, however no matter what something deep inside his mind, he knows that there's another threat. A threat that would destroy the galaxy if given a chance. but where this threat is located no one knows.
Revan is deterred to protect the galaxy even if it doesn't see him as a hero but a concuror, but he'll do anything to save it even give up his family. 


This is a retelling of a small bit of Kotor and will lead into some events of the Revan novel and SWTOR.

There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. Reina is one of two daughters who happen to be descendants of the galaxy's most successful family of engineers, the Vondars. A bumpy beginning to her life had led her and her sister, Sabel, into a life of slavery upon the planet Geonosis. Upon being discovered by the Empire, her seemly-infinite skillset with construction, ability to repair mechanics in near record timing, and overall usefulness to the developing Death Star attracts the attention of none other than Darth Vader himself. The two inseparable siblings are ripped apart from one another, their dream of joining the rebellion together dies alongside what Reina thought she knew about her own past. Beyond anyone's control, Reina grew to resent the man who gave her a new meaning in life. Her hatred for him entangled with Vader's own for her, the two of them craving nothing more than to feel the other's blood on their hands. Despite this hatred, an unexpected twist of desire arose between the two. The fear of love that had been buried deep within their own seething hatred eventually began to expose itself. Will Vader allow himself to continue holding onto the past, allow the fear of potentially losing somebody else continue to push her away? Or will he give in and protect her in ways he was unable to with Padmé. This story will be as close to canon as I can possibly make it, and Vader will still have to rely on his suit to breathe. They were separated at birth and their mother decided to send Melisa to Earth while she raised Clarice in the Star Wars universe. Clarice knows about her sister but is told that she was a still born by her mother. She finds out that her sister is still alive and healthy when she was enrolled into the Jedi Academy.
